Assist Gene and/or Tony as participants pick-up their race bags early

Shift 1: 9 am – noon:

Shift 2: noon – 3 pm:

Shift 3: 3 – 6 pm:

Soup Pick-Up:Friday, October 30^th: Hoss’s in Annville: 1 pm

Drive over to Hoss’s and pick up the 5 gallons of soup they are donating. Bring towels just in case of minor spillage.

Coordinate with Tony on way home to meet at Londonderry Village Pavilion to place in fridge

Site Set-up:

Friday, October 30^th: Londonderry Village Pavilion: noon-2 pm

Assist with Pavilion and outside registration area prep.

Potentially help with roping off parking area

Food Prep & Serving:

Saturday, October 31st: Londonderry Village Pavilion: 7 – 11 am

Set-up all food and coffee

Help serve participants as they enter

Clean tables and serving areas as need be

Clean up when race is over

Parking: Saturday, October 31st: Londonderry Village Pavilion and parking areas: 7:15 – 9 am

Assist participants with any parking needs

Station yourselves so that one person covers a specific parking area and can help direct cars until lot is full

Non-perishable collection area:Saturday, October 31st: Londonderry Village Pavilion: 7 – 9 am

Collect any food and non-perishable items donated by our runners

Anyone who donates at least two items gets a raffle ticket to fill out. Be sure they fill it out and place in bucket. Remind runners to check back after the race to see if they won.

Once race starts, pull 2 names.

Tape tickets to prizes

Help pack up all donated food

Race-Day Packet Pick-up:Saturday, October 31st: Londonderry Village Pavilion: 7:30 – 9 am

Assist with Packet pick-ups for people who have pre-registered for run

Race-Day Same Day Reg: Saturday, October 31st: Londonderry Village Pavilion: 7:30 – 9 am

Assist with registering walk-up participants

Water Station:Saturday, October 31st: Londonderry Village Pavilion: 8:30 – 11 am

Report to the American Water van and assist Nate with filling cups

Pretzel City Start & Finish Line Help: Saturday, October 31st: Londonderry Village Grubb Road: 8:30 - 11 am

Assist with setting up the start line

Once all runners have passed through, assist with Finish Line set-up

Assist with collecting bib numbers as runners cross finish line

Set-up and Remove Barriers/Signs:Saturday, October 31st: Along race route and side-streets: 8:30-end of race

Set-up all barricades and detour signs before race begins

As soon as the last participant turns back onto Grubb street from Fir and is heading to the finish, begin tearing down the barricades and detour signs.

Deliver all the signs and barricades up to the NLT Police Garage (located behind the NLT Building)

Course Directors:Saturday, October 31st: All along race route: 8:45-follow-up car passes you

Once race begins, direct and cheer on participants on their way out and their way back in.

You shouldn’t have to deal with any vehicle traffic, but in case you do, hold vehicles until there is a break in the runners

Can of Soup and Pea Pod to hand out Doorprize tickets during run:Saturday, October 31st: somewhere along Fir Street: 9-10:45 am

One person wears the Can of Soup costume. The other wears the Pea Pod.

Station yourselves apart and along Fir Street

As participants come BACK randomly hand out door prize tickets. We will have given instructions pre-race as to what they are to do with it if they receive one

Be random! Don’t hand out to just friends and family!

Prize Pick-up Area:Saturday, October 31st: Londonderry Village Pavilion: 9:00 – race end

Doorprizes will be tagged and displayed ahead of time.

As runners who received a doorprize ticket return, match the ticket to the prize

Fun-Run:Saturday, October 31st: Londonderry Village Grubb Road: 10:15 – 10:45 am

2 people corral all participating kids along Grubb Road near the Finish Line.

1 person heads down to the intersection of Grubb and Fir. This is the turnaround for the Fun Run.

Instruct kids to run down to the end of the road then turn around and head back.

Hand out the gifts to all runners as they finish.

Clean-up:Saturday, October 31st: Londonderry Village Pavilion: 10:30-noon

Help clean-up food area & pavilion

Help put back all tables and chairs in the outside area of the pavilion

Help pack up all items needing to return to the church

Help pack up food donations

Empty garbage
