Feeding Frenzy (2010)
Feeding Frenzy is a hilarious take on the rubber puppet horror movie genre. While certainly not Red Letter Media's best, it is pretty well made for a low budget film. I would recommend it for anyone who is a fan of them for sure.
A mysterious old man named Mr. Plinkett is keeping a deep dark secret locked away in the basement of a small-town hardware store: vicious, flesh-eating creatures with a mysterious past. Once these creatures escape, all hell breaks loose and it’s up to Jesse, an incompetent hardware store employee, to stop them from turning the town into a feeding frenzy! FEEDING FRENZY is a tongue-in-cheek homage to the rubber puppet monster movies of the 1980’s such as CRITTERS, GHOULIES and every other low-budget film that ripped off GREMLINS.

For the film:
- Acting for Two: Mike Stoklasa plays Carl, one of the major characters, as well as the minor character Mike Hilton in a face bandage to conceal the fact.
- No Budget: The film obviously has almost no budget, with lots of DIY gore and monster effects.
- Old Shame: The RLM crew is usually pretty self-effacing when discussing their catalog of feature-length films, Feeding Frenzy included.
- Production Posse:
- Rich Evans was a personal friend and frequent collaborator with Stoklasa and Bauman. He's now a full member of Red Letter Media.
- Tina Krause, who plays the murdered prostitute in the opening scene, also starred in Red Letter Media's The Recovered.
